  1. u00bc cup butter
  2. 5 fennel bulbs, trimmed and quartered
  3. 1 (32 fluid ounce) container vegetable broth
  4. salt and pepper to taste

The instruction how to make Fennel Soup

  1. Melt the butter in a large skillet greater than medium heat. Add the quartered fennel bulbs; cook and disquiet until golden brown, not quite 10 minutes. Pour in the broth, and simmer until fennel is tender, about 15 more minutes. Ladle into soup bowls, and season behind salt and pepper.
