Buying flowers can be difficult, even for the most experienced. There’s always a species you might not have heard about.
If you’re the kind who buys flowers once a year, you might encounter a difficult choice: should I buy an overpriced bouquet some stranger recommends or would a box of chocolates do the trick?

When you first open What Flower, the first screen you see is the Search. Here you can find flowers by their:
If you ever get confused and need assistance, tap on the info button and it will lead you to the Help section which contains brief description of each tab.
Here is the place the magic happens! Below the beautiful photo you’ll find all the details of the flower:
Some flowers have additional names and some more details - few pieces of useful information about the flower.
At the bottom of the view, there are three buttons:
All the flowers are here sorted by name. For a better flower finding experience, every flower has a small photo on the left side and the alternate names just below its name.
Not sure what flower best suits an occasion or a person? You can look at up to four flowers side by side, comparing their photos, meaning and occasions so you can choose the most appropriate one for a certain occasion or to compose the perfect bouquet for that special someone!
Favorites:
Here are all your favorite flowers, either added directly from Details View or by pressing “Add a flower” and selecting it from the list.
Colors:
Here, the flowers are sorted by color.
Emotions:
They are arranged around six primary emotions: Love, Joy, Surprise, Sadness, Fear and Anger.
Seasons:
Flower shops might not have summer blooming flowers in winter, so don't beat yourself up trying to find them!
Regions:
Here, the flowers are sorted by the region they can be found in.
Wouldn't it be great if you could remember someone's favorite flowers? Here you can do just that!
You can add any contact from your address book alongside with his/hers favorite flowers, either directly from the flower’s details view or by adding each contact separately and their corresponding flowers, in the Contact screen.
